DOUGHNUTS!

Urban sketching has been a big part of my life and career as an artist for the last several years. Sketching plein air has helped me sharpen my observation skills, hone my craft, and appreciate the world around me. Most sketches are done using Sakura of America Koi watercolors and Pigma Micron pens.

Who doesn't love doughnuts? Even if your dietary restrictions or distaste for sugar prevent you from eating them, you have to admit that they're pretty to look at. These drawings were made using watercolor, watercolor pencils, white china marker, and Adobe Photoshop for digital enhancement.
